Custom & Import Tax

1. Liability for Duties & Taxes

For cross-border shipments, the consignee (recipient) assumes full responsibility for any import duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country’s customs authority. These charges are not included in the order total at checkout and must be paid directly to customs upon delivery.

2. Variability of Import Duties

Customs duty amounts differ by country and are governed by each nation’s tariff regulations. For packages sent via USPS First Class, we typically declare the invoice value between $20–$150 USD as a “gift” to minimize potential duties—though this is subject to your country’s specific rules.

3. Adjusting Declared Value

To request a specific invoice declaration for customs purposes, please contact our team at [email protected]. We will modify the declared value according to your instructions. In the absence of specific requests, we will determine the value ($20–$150 USD) based on package weight and dimensions.

4. Customs Clearance Support

If your package encounters delays or issues at customs, we will:

  • Cover all clearance fees incurred
  • Provide the official shipping invoice for presentation to customs
  • Coordinate directly with USPS to resolve any logistical challenges
